What will workers’ compensation do for disabled employees?

The amount a worker will receive depends on the extent of his or her disability. Total and permanent disability is defined as the loss of two extremities or the loss of vision. It is compensated with payments of 2/3 of the injured worker’s paycheck for up to 500 weeks.

Compensation for partial disability or disfigurement will vary from one person to the next. It depends largely on the severity on the injury.
