Is there a deadline for filing a workers’ compensation claim in South Carolina?

There absolutely is. In South Carolina, you have ninety days following an injury to report what happened to your employer. Following that, requests for compensation should be filed within two years of the injury. Failure to adhere to these deadlines may waive your right to compensation. In other words, it is in your best interests to start the process early.
