A factory worker attempting to make repairs on an air compressor was recently electrocuted. The worker was working on the air compressor when he made contact with a live wire. An estimated 480 volts shocked the worker. This caused the worker to sustain burn injuries to his arm from the accident.
Medical personnel were called to the facility. The worker who was injured was walking around and responsive to the emergency officials when they arrived at the scene.
The victim in this accident was airlifted to a hospital for treatment of his injuries. The current condition and status of the worker was not yet released.
