Worker Injured in Electrical Accident at Plant

by Administrator 8. January 2010 02:32

A worker has recently suffered serious injuries and burns to his body following an electrical accident.  The worker was attempting to perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment when the accident occurred.  The equipment was supposed to be powered off,  however the electrical current was live.  After opening the electrical instruments on the equipment,  the man began making the repairs when he was shocked.

The man was burned seriously on his hand and other parts of the body.  Other workers rushed to his aid and called authorities. The man was rushed to a hospital for treatment.  The man is expected to recover,  but will likely take several months.
