Worker Hurt by Horseshoe Machinery

by Administrator 18. May 2009 02:27

A Maryland worker is being treated for an accident that resulted in a serious injury to the man's hand.

The company that the accident happened at was the Victory Racing Plate Company.  The company has been in business for over 80 years making sport horseshoes.

While working on Friday morning,  the man got his hand caught in a 60 ton horseshoe press. Emergency workers showed up to see the man's hand caught in the equipment.  Emergency crews removed the man's hand from the equipment and took him to a nearby hospital for treatment.

If you or someone you know has been injured on the job and is in need of workers' compensation benefits, contact the Charleston workers' compensation attorneys of The Steinberg Law Firm at 843-720-2800.
