The Occupational Safety and Health Adminstration (OSHA) is releasing workplace injury data collected from over 80,000 employers over 11 years. For the first time ever, OSHA is releasing this information online, in an effort to increase government transparency. Information dating from 1996-2007 is being put on the adminstration's website in order to inform the American worker about government data concerning workplace safety and injury rates.
