by Administrator 19. October 2009 01:00

A worker was recently killed in an accident while at work.  The man was attempting to move a large load when  the load fell on the man.  The load was a nearly 1 ton coil.  The company the man worked with specializes in coils.

No other workers were injured in the accident.  The accident will be investigated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.   An autopsy is scheduled for the worker.  It should be completed by the end of the week.

On the job accidents can range from relatively minor to deadly injuries.  If you or someone you know has been injured on the job and is in need of workers' compensation benefits, contact the Charleston workers' compensation attorneys of The Steinberg Law Firm at 843-720-2800.
