Cell Phone Tower Worker Dies in Accident

by Administrator 18. March 2009 05:49

A 36 year-old man from Florida died on Tuesday after falling from a cell phone tower that he was working on.  The man was doing work on a T-Mobile cell phone tower in the afternoon on Tuesday when he fell to his death.

The worker was wearing safety gear and was also apparently harnessed in as well.  It is not known what caused the man to fall,  or why the harness he was wearing did not function properly to prevent him from falling to his death.

Officials are investigating the accident.

Sadly, accidents like this one are common.  If you or a loved one has been the victim of a similar worksite injury, it is important to have qualified legal representation on your side.  Contact the Charleston workers' compensation attorneys of The Steinberg Law Firm at 843-720-2800 for more information on your legal right to compensation.
