Car Wash Worker Nearly Killed On The Job

A Massachusetts woman has shown that automated car washes can be very dangerous for those around them.  Golden Nozzle Car Wash employee Stephanie Carpluk lost consciousness on Sunday, after her scarf got caught in a moving scrubber brush.

Carpluk was left with two black eyes and a few scrapes following the incident, but her injuries could have been far more severe if not for a heroic passerby.  Car wash customer John O'Leary noticed that Carpluk was in danger, jumped out of his car and freed her from the scrubber brush.

O'Leary then performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on Carpluk, who was then taken to the hospital.  She was released on Tuesday and is expected to make a full recovery.

The incident remains under investigation.
