Update on Tylenol recall 2010

by Administrator 7. May 2010 04:26

The Food and Drug Administration along with McNeil Consumer Healthcare have voluntarily recalled children's liquid products.

These products which includes, Tylenol, Motrin, Benadryl and Zyrtec, have been recalled due to to subpar manufacturing. The FDA advises that any remaining prodcuts be discarded and that consumers discontinue the use of these products. The FDA has reported that the recalled products may contain a higher concentration of some active ingredients than what is specified on the bottle.

An FDA press release stated that the potential for serious health risks after taking the recalled products are remote, but that Americans should only take medicine that is the highest quality.
