18-wheeler vs. minivan accident kills one man

by Administrator 17. May 2010 07:32

A 58-year-old man was killed after a minivan and truck accident in Bibb County.

An investigation into the accident is still underway, but officials say that the man was driving in the rain when his van went underneath the tractor-trailer. The 43-year-old driver of the 18-wheeler was driving slowly trying to find a business through the inclement weather conditions. The minivan followed him up the hill and didn't slow down once he topped the hill. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured, but the 58-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Car and truck accidents are dangerous and traumatizing for all involved. Our thoughts are with the family of the victim.
