The South Carolina Highway Patrol released information regarding the make and model of an 18-wheeler that was involved in a hit-and-run accident just before 1:00 a.m. on February 14th. The police believe that the truck is a white Freightliner that could be between an 1989-1998 model. The truck was involved in a rear-end collision with another vehicle, causing extensive damage to the vehicle and injuring the driver inside. Authorities are looking for information regarding the accident to help resolve the case.

MSHA Launches New Safety Program, Plans to Bring to Charleston

The federal Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) recently announced the creation of a new program that is designed to prevent fatal accidents, based on investigations into the cause of mine accidents in the past few years.
