Farm Worker Killed in Accident

A migrant farm worker was recently killed in an accident that took place on a farm.  According to reports,  the worker was operating a skid steer when the accident occurred.  The worker apparently lost control of the vehicle which then overturned. 

The vehicle overturned into a manure pit which was nearly 8 feet deep.  The worker died at the scene of the accident.   The worker had been with the company for nearly a year before the accident took place.

The accident is currently under investigation by federal work officials.

Consturction Worker Killed in Hit-and-Run

A Utah construction worker was recently killed in an accident in which a truck driver drove into a work construction zone, struck the worker, and then fled the scene.

Authorities have begun a man hunt for the driver of the truck.  Not many details are known about the truck involved in the accident.  The truck is said to be either blue or white, and likely has damage on the passenger side from where it struck the worker.  Authorities are asking for any help in finding the individual responsible for the worker's death.

Worker Dies at Charges Game

A worker with the San Diego Chargers game-day staff died after falling nearly 30 feet from a booth that is used by the opposing team assistant coaches.  The worker fell from the booth and landed below on a level.  According to reports,  other workers rushed to the man's aid and began to administer CPR.  The worker was then rushed to a hospital,  where he would die 12 hours later from his injuries. 

Reports indicate that workers had to clean up a large puddle of blood following the accident.  The accident caused a delay in opening the stadium to the general public by about 40 minutes.  The accident is under investigation.

Man Killed in Accident at Work

A worker was recently killed in an accident while at work.  The man was attempting to move a large load when  the load fell on the man.  The load was a nearly 1 ton coil.  The company the man worked with specializes in coils.  

No other workers were injured in the accident.  The accident will be investigated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.   An autopsy is scheduled for the worker.  It should be completed by the end of the week.

Construction Lift Falls, Injures Workers and Others

A construction lift recently fell over in Philadelphia, causing a serious accident and injury to a worker and others.  One worker was seriously injured and killed in the workplace accident.  Authorities have stated that the man fell from nearly 125 feet in the air to the ground.  The man was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries,  but he would later die while receiving care.

The workplace accident is under investigation.

Worker Struck by Vehicle

A worker was recently struck by a vehicle as he was attempting to finish up a cleaning project. The worker was taking part in removing debris and trash from around a work area,  when another worker in a large truck backed into and struck the worker.

The worker suffered leg injuries in this accident, and had to be taken to a hospital for treatment.  The injuries of the worker are not expected to be life threatening, and the worker is currently recovering.  More information on the condition of the worker is expected to be released at a later time.

Man Killed in Industrial Accident

A factory worker was recently killed in an accident in which the individual became caught in machinery.

The accident is currently under investigation as officials attempt to determine if any safety procedures were violated or if a malfunction of the equipment added to the accident occurring.

According to reports,  the worker became caught in the machinery and pulled in.  Other workers attempted to rush to the man's aid but it was already too late.  Emergency officials were called and pronounced the worker dead on the scene.
