Worker Loses Leg in Accident Saving Co-worker

by Administrator 24. August 2009 01:32

A road worker saved his fellow friend and co-workers life,  but unfortunately lost his leg in an accident in which a car driven by a woman high on crack struck the men.

The worker who lost his leg in the accident noticed the car coming right at the two individuals as they were working at a construct site.  The man then pushed his friend out of the way in order to protect him.  While doing this,  the man got hit by the  car below the leg.  After being rushed to the hospital,  doctors had to amputate the man's leg because of the injuries sustained.

The woman who was driving high while on crack was arrested after the accident.

A performer for Disney was recently killed at the theme park while taking part in a performance of "Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial".

According to reports, the performer was taking part in a sword-fighting routine when he slipped and fell.  The performer then hit his head on a wall while falling.  The performer seemed fine at first and even joked about the accident.  He was taken to the hospital where he received treatment for his injury.  Whenever the hospital moved the performer from intensive care to another area,  the man's health soon declined rapidly.  The man then shortly died later in the hospital.

Worker Killed in Industrial Accident

A worker has recently been killed at an industrial recycling plant.  The accident took place mid-afternoon when the worker was attempting to fix some heavy machinery.  This is all the information that the police and investigating authorities have released.  Most information is being withheld as authorities notify family members of the accident.

An investigation will likely take place to determine if any safety procedures or precautions were violated.   When repairing or operating heavy machinery,  many precautions need to take place to ensure the safety of all workers.
