Symptoms of Mold Exposure

The symptoms of mold exposure vary from person to person. The most common symptoms associated with mold exposure include the following:

• Nasal congestion
• Itchy eyes
• Wheezing
• Memory loss

However, more susceptible individuals, such as infants and people with immune system deficiencies, may experience more serious symptoms, such as fever and shortness of breath. These symptoms can indicate a lung infection.

Where is Mold Found?

Mold spores are found literally everywhere; however, the two molds that are most hazardous are attracted to damp, dark areas.
